Our undertaking is a bold and visionary mission that extends far beyond the realms of conventional education. We have set our sights on transforming the lives of 10 Million Youths across the vast and diverse landscape of Africa within the upcoming 4 years. This ambitious initiative is not merely about imparting knowledge; it is a comprehensive effort to instill practical skills, nurture resilience, and carve out tangible pathways toward sustainable employment.
Africa is home to the world's youngest and fastest-growing population, with over 60% of its citizens under the age of 35. This youthful demographic represents a vast reservoir of untapped potential and a driving force for Africa's economic growth. However, many African youths lack the skills, attitude and knowledge they need to successfully transition into the workforce, have a fruitful professional career and contribute effectively to the growth of their companies and communities.
That's where AFRES, the African Youth Employability Skills Programme, comes in. AFRES is a groundbreaking collaboration between Youtherium, a leading provider of youth development programmes, and The Strategic Centre (The SC), a UK-registered organisation focused on initiating and leading strategic multinational partnerships and building successful consortiums for joint Academic, Research, HR Development and Training, focused on advancing Africa's development. Starting its transformative journey in Nigeria, However, many African youths lack the skills, attitude and knowledge they need to successfully transition into the workforce, have a fruitful professional career and contribute effectively to the growth of their companies and communities. AFRES aims to address the specific EMPLOYABILITY needs of African youths, while recognizing the diverse landscapes and challenges across the continent.

    Each stage is carefully curated to provide a comprehensive skill set for career success.

  • Will I be given Certificate of Completion?

    Yes. You will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of each stage upon successful completion of the exams and quizzes.

  • How long is the AFRES programme?

    The AFRES Programme is a 6-Months Programme broken into 4 Stages. The programme is self-paced, meaning every learner has a maximum of 6-months to complete the programme and graduate. For learnes with ample time, they can finish earlier provided they complete the various stages and write all the exams and quizzes and assignments.

  • Can I stop after each stage?

    We encourage all learners to go through all the stages and complete the exams to graduate from this programme.

  • What is the format of the AFRES programme?

    The AFRES programme is a combination of online and offline learning. Participants will have access to online courses, videos, and other resources. They will also participate in post-class workshops with industry experts and subject matter gurus.

  • What are the career outcomes for AFRES graduates?

    AFRES graduates will be equipped with the skills they need to succeed in a variety of professions. They will also have a strong network of contacts that they can leverage to find employment.
